it is 1:00 and the Procter has just arrived. We are all now waiting for the proctor to hand us our test paper. I am looking around and wondering if anyone else is as nervous as I am. I finally get my test and start to read it. There are two choices and we must pick one so i chose, of course, the easiest one which was, the church was given a grant to either expand their church so more and more people would go or to build a community center where kids can go and play all sorts of games and activities. i basically wrote my reasons for the first paragraph and then explained them and gave examples in my 2nd and 3rd paragraphs. then i just went straigh to my conclusion which was basically summarizing the reasons with the option. Oops, time is up and i just finish and I'm feeling pretty good about myself thinking I passed it.

persuading

Well my topic is on why i feel people should play the Rubik's cube and my research has been crazy. I found things that i would have never imagined just from playing this cube. I've learned so much to the point where it actually has me playing it myself and not wanting to give up. This cube has been played all around the world that's soooo totally cool.

Gee article

Well i can see what Gee is trying to say about how kids learn faster in playing a video game then being in school and learning about something that has to do with biology. Almost every person that plays video games are extremely focus no matter what game they are playing, ex. Bully: Scholarship Edition, many kids for some reason seems to learn things on this game then in school. So i can relate to Gee and what he is saying because there are video games that can improve your learning skills which sometimes can help me better in learning while concentrating in certain things in school. Now when he talks about good learning i feel the only way to have this is to challenge yourself into something that you can find most interest in which to me can be video games.

daily electronics

I use a lot of technology from metro cards to driving my car. Once in a blue I'll drive my car in the morning to the train station to get to school. Then I swipe my metro card in the morning in the train. Then while I ride on the train i use my sell phone for music and for chatting with friends. I also use my credit cards for some purposes. my world mainly evolves around electronics and without ant of these things i would find myself in the streets begging for money and living a cold, lonely, and harsh life.

The Matrix

This is probably my 5th time watching this movie. Before i would just watch it and think nothing of it, but now i watch and paid close attention and realized that most of the things that happens in the matrix is happen today in real life. The world we live in is being controlled by technology. It follows our every move and hears our every voice. Tuesday was the best english class so far because we sat back and watch the matrix hopefully we can watch all the other matrix movies throughout the semester. On thursday of last week we saw the last of the movie and then each time i stared at a computer I would put my face closely to the screen and see if i can see those little green letters that they always showed throughout the movie but i didn't see them. i guess i was really bored or something, but seriously i wonder everything we type every time we pressed the "Enter" button to send anything what is the process like to get to the place that we send it to. But unless you are living the matrix life we will never know.
